How to enable Translatium extension for Safari
The Safari web extension is bundled with the Translatium app for Mac.
- Install Translatium for macOS
- Go to the Map App Store and search for “Translatium”.
- Download and install the Translatium app on your Mac.
- Open Safari settings:
- Open Safari.
- Go to the “Safari” menu in the top-left corner of the screen and select “Settings”.
- Enable the extension:
- In the Settings window, go to the “Extensions” tab.
- Look for “Translate with Translatium” in the list of available extensions.
- Check the box next to “Translate with Translatium” to enable the extension.
- Select "Always Allow for Every Website...", and then confirm to grant permission for the extension to run.

- After enabling the extension, you should see the Translatium icon in your Safari toolbar.
- Translate
You can now select text on any website, right-click, and select “Translate with Translatium” to translate the text.
Translatium extension for Safari requires Safari 14 or later.
